What Arcke is bound to.
Arcke is built and operated by independent artists. We are building the infrastructure we needed and could not find. The commitments below are written into Arcke’s certificate of incorporation. They govern not only what the company does, but why and how it does it.
Our commitments, in the words of our certificate of incorporation.
FROM ARTICLE III
(i)The Corporation shall not be owned or controlled by any Major Record Label Group, or any entity deriving a majority of consolidated gross revenue from the fragmentation, opacity, or restriction of musical creator rights data;
IN PLAIN TERMS
A major label group cannot own or control Arcke. Neither can any company that makes its money from keeping rights data scattered or closed.
(ii)The Corporation shall not take any action on musical creator data without transparent disclosure and the creator's ability to refuse;
IN PLAIN TERMS
Arcke cannot act on your data without telling you why, what it does, and giving you the ability to refuse.
(iii)The Corporation shall not use musical creator data to train, develop, or enable systems that compete with or diminish the economic interests of the creators whose authorship generated it;
IN PLAIN TERMS
Arcke cannot use your data to train or enable systems that compete with you or diminish what you earn from your work.
(iv)The Corporation shall not subordinate musical creator data, rights, or provenance to the commercial interests of third parties.
IN PLAIN TERMS
Your rights and provenance cannot be put second to another party’s commercial interests.
These are more than aspirations or internal policies. They are written into Arcke’s certificate of incorporation.
THE SPECIFIC PUBLIC BENEFIT
The purpose of the Corporation is to make the sovereign authority of independent music creators (those whose contribution to a work is one of creative authorship, operating outside the ownership, control, or funding of major record label groups and their affiliates) legible, provable, and exercisable across the full lifecycle of a musical work, from the moment of its creation through the entirety of its commercial existence.

What we keep depends on how you take part.
If you join the Preview waitlist, we store the information you enter so we can manage your request and contact you about Preview access. We keep it until you ask us to remove it. If you take the Artist Survey, we store your responses and anything else you choose to provide. If you use the voice survey, we also store the recording and transcript. Survey data is deleted automatically after 180 days, or sooner if you ask.
The survey records your country at country level, but not your IP address or precise location. No account or login is required.
Arcke does not sell your personal data or permit it to be used to train AI models.
